Responses to popular requests from applicants and students

Applications are submitted online via a personal account. The link is available on the “Admissions” page of international.mgimo.ru.

The basic set of documents includes: an Identification Document (a notarized translation of the main page of the passport), educational documents – previous education certificate/diploma and its official supplement listing all subjects and final grades (a notarized translation of both the certificate and the supplement is required), medical certificates (a copy of a medical certificate confirming you have no health conditions that would prevent you from studying, a copy of a medical certificate confirming the absence of HIV and AIDS, a copy of a medical certificate confirming the absence of all forms of hepatitis and tuberculosis) and a digital photo (black and white or color, your face must be centered, light-colored background is required). Before applying, please verify whether your educational documents require consular legalization or an Apostille for recognition in the Russian Federation.

This is a unique project for international applicants who have already made the decision to apply to MGIMO. Membership to the Club gives you access to free lectures and master-classes by MGIMO’s leading professors. Each Club participant is assigned a curator from among the university's staff and students, ready to support them throughout the application process and answer any questions.

Yes, if your country requires a visa to enter Russia. Request an invitation at visa_invitation@inno.mgimo.ru.

Yes. All international students must have valid medical insurance in Russia, preferably through MGIMO’s partner companies.
