There, he met with the Head of the International Relations Office of the Partnership Directorate at the Bandung Institute of Technology Siti Farrah. The meeting resulted in the alignment of practical steps to implement the trilateral agreement between PJSC NK «Rosneft,» MGIMO, and the Bandung Institute of Technology on training personnel for energy companies, which was signed on the sidelines of the Saint Petersburg Economic Forum in June 2024.

From January 31 to February 1, the University delegation held working meetings with the leadership of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Jakarta, as well as with representatives of Rosatom State Corporation and RIA Novosti in Indonesia. On February 2, the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Jakarta hosted «MGIMO Day» — a special event for Indonesian applicants designed to introduce them to the history, values, educational programs, and extracurricular life of the forge of world leaders. The event provided answers to all pressing questions firsthand and offered a brief immersion into MGIMO’s academic atmosphere. The event, which received wide coverage in Russian and Indonesian media, was attended by over 150 high school students and university students from Jakarta.
The guests of honor at «MGIMO Day» were University alumni — the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Indonesia Sergei Tolchenov and the Head of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Jakarta Nikita Shilikov.
